First responders were dispatched to Drewville Road at approximately 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 23, police said. Two were transported to Putnam Hospital, and a third was airlifted to Westchester Medical Center following the crash with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police said that the crash is currently under investigation by the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office and Carmel Police Department. No cause for the crash has been released. The extent of the injuries was not available on Monday morning.
Crews from the Mahopac Volunteer Fire Department and Carmel Fire Department assisted at the scene. The crash closed Drewville Road for several hours on Sunday as first responders cleared the scene.
